(Regarding Changes in Jurisdiction)
Starting January 1, 2015, the Commonwealth of Virginia will be serviced under the jurisdiction of the Embassy of Japan in Washington, D.C. Please visit this site for more information:http://www.us.emb-japan.go.jp/jicc/consulate-guide.html.
The jurisdiction of the Consulate General of Japan in Atlanta will now be Alabama, Georgia, North Carolina, and South Carolina.
Residents of the Commonwealth of Virginia should contact the Embassy of Japan regarding visas and any other Consular services, as well as information about Japan and Japan-related economic and political affairs.
