Teachers' Workshop for Curriculum on Japan

The Consulate General of Japan, the Georgia Council on Economic Education, and the Japan-America Society of Georgia teamed up to present a teachers’ workshop to metro Atlanta Social Studies teachers. The workshop included presentations by members of the Georgia Council on Economic Education and leading Japanologists from Georgia Tech.
Professors Brian Woodall and James Hoadley presented in-depth on Japan’s political landscape and economic situation, and GCEE representatives Glen Blankenship and Mike Raymer demonstrated ways to integrate lessons into Georgia’s state curriculum.

The workshop had 27 teachers in attendance.
