Announcement of Winners of the “My Mount Fuji” Drawing Contest
The Consulate General of Japan would like to thank all participants in the Drawing Contest for the many entries we received. To commemorate Mount Fuji, a symbol of Japan, being added to UNESCO’s World Heritage List, the Contest’s theme was “My Mount Fuji” with a focus on students in grades K-12 living in Alabama, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Virginia. From powerful to subtle imagery, the art expressed the many views of Mount Fuji. We received many extremely interesting and wonderful works of art which were put to a strict review by an art expert. Below please find the chosen winners of the Contest. Congratulations! Winners were awarded with a certificate and prizes from our office.
