Blue Ridge Metals Corporation celebrates its 25th Anniversary
(North Carolina)
On June 27, 2013, the Blue Ridge Metals Corporation (BRM) hosted a ceremony to celebrate its 25th anniversary in the Biltmore Estate, a renowned resort located in Ashville, North Carolina, and Consul General (CG) Kazuo Sunaga attended the ceremony as a guest. The BRM was launched in Fletcher, North Carolina, in 1988 to produce cold formed auto parts and cold heading quality wires. Since then, the corporation has grown to be one of the major suppliers in the auto industry in the region. As many as 190 people were in attendance at the ceremony: the guests included leaders of Henderson County such as Mayor Moore, City of Fletcher, BRM customers, business partners as well as BRM associates headed by Mr. Shiozawa, Senior General Manager and Mr. Sheppard, Factory Manager. Unfortunately, Chairman Yoshida, the founder of Central Yoshida, parent company of BRM, could not make it to the celebration. Instead, his video message was run during the ceremony, and Mr. Goda, Vice President of Central Yoshida Corporation, traveled to Ashville from Japan to join the celebration. It should be noted that a congratulatory letter and a certificate of appreciation from Governor Pat McCrory, the state of North Carolina, were presented to MRB on this auspicious occasion and were shared with the guests at the outset of the ceremony.
