Consul General Sunaga met Lieutenant Governor Ivey and Secretary of Commerce Canfield on a courtesy visit in Montgomery, Alabama
On July 12th, Consul General (CG) Kazuo Sunaga visited the City of Montgomery, the state capital of Alabama, to pay a courtesy call to Lieutenant Governor Kay Ivey and Secretary of Commerce Greg Canfield. CG Sunaga told the Lieutenant Governor and the Secretary of Commerce that his primary duties include supporting Japanese nationals and Japanese companies based in Alabama and the Southeast. He asked for their support as he works to continue the great relationship between Japan and Alabama, and both sides confirmed the significance of further promoting Japan-Alabama relations.
