Consul General Shinozuka and North Carolina Governor McCrory informal discussion (May 26, 2016)

    On May 26th, Consul General Shinozuka met North Carolina Governor Pat McCrory while in Mebane for the opening ceremony of the Morinaga America Foods factory.

    Consul General Shinozuka spoke at the opening ceremony and expressed his gratitude for the support of the North Carolina Government to the approximately 340 Japanese businesses and 6400 Japanese residents in the state. Governor McCrory expressed his appreciation for and the importance of North Carolina’s relationship with Japan. With North Caroina’s population of more than 10 million people, high education level, he looks forward to further expansions of Japanese companies.
