Consul General Sunaga paid a courtesy visit to President Lacker at the Federal Reserve Bank, Richmond (VA)
On June 12, Consul General Kazuo Sunaga met with President Jeffrey Lacker on a courtesy visit to the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond, Virginia. President Lacker shared his view on the economy climate in his District with the Consul General, and they discussed about the current business/trade between Japan and the U.S. southeast. In addition, Consul General Sunaga gave a brief explanation of the current state of “Abenomics”.
Senior Vice President John Weinberg and Vice President Ann Battle-Marcheras were also in attendance. The Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond is one of 12 regional reserve banks with Virginia, Maryland, North Carolina, South Carolina, the District of Columbia, and West Virginia under its jurisdiction.
