Consul General Sunaga visits President Lockhart at Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta (August 30, 2013)
On August 30th, Consul General (CG) Kazuo Sunaga visited the Federal Reserve Bank (FRB) of Atlanta to meet with the Bank’s President, Mr. Dennis Lockhart. During this introductory visit, CG Sunaga stated that his primary duties include supporting Japanese companies based in Georgia, as well as Alabama, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Virginia. President Lockhart and CG Sunaga exchanged views on a variety of topics including the economy in the Southeast and Abenomics. The FRB of Atlanta is one of the 12 Federal Reserve Banks and is responsible for the 6th District which covers the states of Alabama, Georgia and Florida as well as parts of Tennessee, Mississippi and Louisiana.
