On September 26, CG Sunaga presented Georgia Perimeter College with a check from the Japan Foundation as a recipient of the “Grant for Japanese-Language Courses” during a ceremony on the Clarkston Campus. Prior to the check presentation, CG Sunaga spoke to a Georgia Perimeter College Japanese language class.

    Georgia Perimeter College President Rob Watts expressed the value of learning a second language and thanked the Japan Foundation for its continued support of the Japanese language program. Marla Calico, the Clarkston Campus Dean and Dean of Arts and Humanities, and Andrea DiBernardo, the Foreign Language Department Chair, were in attendance along with other University representatives.
