The Grand Opening Ceremony for Mitutoyo America Corporation M3 Solution Center in Huntersville, NC

    On June 28th, Consul General Shinozuka attended the Grand Opening Ceremony for Mitutoyo America Corporation M3 Solution Center held in Huntersville, North Carolina. On the day of the event, about 100 people attended the opening ceremony including Mr. Curtis on behalf of Congressman Robert Pittsburgh (North Carolina 9th Congressional District), Fuller Mecklenburg Board of County Commissioners Chairman, Huntersville Mayor Aneralla, Executive Director Numata from Mitutoyo Corporation, Japan, and other officials and representatives.

    Mitutoyo America Corporation (President Shigeyuki Sasaki),is the US subsidiary of Mitutoyo Corporation, a manufacturer of precision instruments. In 1995, Mitutoyo opened its M3 Solution Center, a showroom for product demonstrations and technology consultations, in Huntersville, North Carolina and relocated the Center in the new building in order to expand the business in the Southeastern United States where there is a concentration on automotive, aerospace, defense, and medical industries.
