Consul General Shinozuka attends the Japanese Chamber of Commerce of Georgia’s New Year Reception
On January 24, Consul General and Mrs. Takashi Shinozuka attended the New Year’s Reception hosted by the Japanese Chamber of Commerce of Georgia (JCCG) at the St. Regis in Atlanta. The event had a great turnout with 280 guests, including JCCG Chairman Yohei Hiraguri and executive members, Director of the Board, corporate and individual members and guests in attendance.
In his guest remarks, while mentioning Japan’s investment in the state of Georgia, an accumulative 12 billion dollars, and the creation of more than 36,000 jobs in the past decades, Consul General Shinozuka praised the JCCG’s many contributions to the Japanese business and local communities. The JCCG is not only committed to helping the local Japanese business community by creating various networking opportunities, but is also committed to promoting Japanese culture through “JapanFest,” the largest cultural event in the U.S. Southeast in the past 30 years.
