Mitsubishi Polyester Film 50th Anniversary in Greer, South Carolina
On September 25, the Mitsubishi Polyester Film (MPF) hosted a ceremony to celebrate its 50th Anniversary in Greer, South Carolina where Consul General Sunaga was an honorary guest.
The event was attended by about 120 people including Takumi Ubagi , CEO of Mitsubishi Plastics, Inc., the parent company headquartered in Japan, Greer Mayor Rick Danner , Jennifer Noel, Director of South Carolina Department of Commerce Global Business Development, representatives from US Congressional delegations from South Carolina, Mitsubishi Polyester Film clients, business partners and associates along with members of the media. During the ceremony, a plaque from Governor Nikki Haley was presented to MPF as well as the Governor’s Proclamation to call September 25th - Mitsubishi Polyester Film Day. It was presented in recognition of MPF’s longstanding commitment to the local community.
Mitsubishi Polyester Film is headed by company president and COO, Mr. Bill Radlein and serves as the U.S. production base that manufactures high function/quality plastic films. The company, with 600 employees, is well known for its contributions not only to local economy, but also as a good corporate citizen.
