The Grand Opening Ceremony for Automated Warehouse of Piolax Corporation in Canton, GA

    On September 30th, Consul General Shinozuka attended an opening ceremony for Piloax Corporation’s Automated Warehouse in Canton, Georgia. About 100 people attended this event, including President Shimazu from Piolax Inc, Japan, Canton Mayor Hobgood, Cherokee County Economic Development Officer President Martin, and other officials and representatives.

    Piolax Corporation (President Genichi Ishikawa), a US subsidiary of Piolax Inc., specializes in plastic and metal automotive parts. In light of recent trade expansion here in the US, Piolax Corporation established its own automated warehouse instead of the rented warehouse used thus far. The new fully automated warehouse will not only increase the storage capacity but also reduce more than half the current forklifts and increase safety and efficiency of the warehouse operations.
