Pushing 13,000 attendees, Anime Weekend Atlanta is easily the largest Japanese Animation convention in the Atlanta area, and this year also marked one of the largest displays the Consulate General has used for event exhibition.

In addition to the usual displays of festival materials, dolls, and food culture, the Consulate exhibited a collection of Ukiyo-e woodblock prints, which are considered part of the inspiration for today's manga.
