Anime Weekend Atlanta 2010

Volunteers
Volunteers help at the Consulate Info Booth.
For the first time since 2008, the Consulate General of Japan was able to set up a display booth at Anime Weekend Atlanta. Since many of the attendees had never had the chance to visit one of our displays before, AWA 2010 presented a great opportunity for visitors to learn more about Japan. We look forward to seeing them again in the future.
Anime fans from all over the country gathered at the Cobb Galleria, and with the help of some dedicated volunteers, the Consulate General of Japan had plenty of resources to help attendees. With videos, fact sheets, and lots of travel info, the Consulate booth offered a completely different experience from the typical AWA vendor.
