Martial Arts Demonstrations of Shorinji Kenpo, Shinkendo, and Aikido
The Japan-America Society of Alabama and the Birmingham Botanical Gardens cooperated to present Birmingham's Cherry Blossom Festival this year. A wide variety of cultural activities, from sports to arts and crafts to food, were available for guests.
The Consulate General of Japan had a passport, travel, and culture pavilion, while other participants presented Koi fish care, Bonsai, Ikebana, Origami, and various martial arts. There were also bento and noodle bowls for lunch treats.
