Hitachi Koki USA Ltd. Grand Opening (Braselton, GA)
On January 15th, Consul General Sunaga was invited to attend the grand opening ceremony for the new headquarters of Hitachi Koki USA, Ltd. in Braselton, Georgia.
The ceremony was attended by about 250 guests including Chairman Kiyoshi Kato from the parent company Hitachi Koki Co., Ltd. in Japan, Braselton Mayor Bill Orr, local economic development leadership as well as the company's clients and suppliers, President Hirofumi Yumoto and his company officials and associates at Hitachi Koki USA Ltd.
Chairman Kato stated in his remarks that "Since its inception in North America, Hitachi Koki USA, Ltd. continued to expand its operation thanks to the patronage of our customers and those who supported our operations. It is my pleasure to be with all of you to celebrate this commemorative occasion of the grand opening of the new facility." Consul General Sunaga commended the company's endeavors for decades and expressed appreciation to the local economic development leadership of Braselton for supporting the relocation of the company.
Hitachi Koki USA Ltd. is a US subsidiary of Hitachi Koki Co. Ltd. established in Norcross, Georgia in 1980. The company sells power tools, air tools, accessories, and repair parts to home improvement stores and tool distributors. Through strong partnership with major companies such as Lowe’s, The Home Depot, and Wal-Mart, the company continued to grow and now aims to provide customers with better services at the new location in Braselton where warehouses are integrated as part of the headquarters.
