On November 25, Consul General (CG)Sunaga met with Senator Johnny Isakson in his Atlanta office for a courtesy visit. Senator Isakson offered the Consul General a warm welcome to Georgia and the South. The two discussed trade between Japan and Georgia, the continuing Trans-Pacific Partnership negotiations, and the port deepening project in Savannah among other things. Both men confirmed the importance of Japan and Georgia’s economic development partnership and expressed their commitment to work together in the future.
