Konohana Sakuya Manga Lecture

Manga Artist Duo Konohana Sakuya
Savannah College of Art & Design, the Japan Foundation, the Consulate General of Japan in Atlanta, and the Japan-America Society of Georgia collaborated to bring manga artists Konohana Sakuya to the Savannah College of Art & Design Atlanta campus, Roswell High School, and North Cobb High School for a lecture on their work.
Konohana Sakuya, a husband-and-wife comic team, are the winners of the 2002 grand prize of the first annual International Manga Awards, as well as the winners of the Agency for Cultural Affairs of Japan's Jury's Choice Award in the manga category of the Media Arts Festival Awards. Their "Encounters" series has been featured in Comic Bunch magazine, and their work "The Lights" was published in Shonen Jump.
