Rie Oishi passed the final audition on May 3 to become part of the 2012 Atlanta Falcons Cheerleading Team. 270 women auditioned for just 18 spots open to rookies on the team. On June 27, Ms. Oishi paid a courtesy call to the Consulate General of Japan, where she told Deputy Consul General Miyamori that she is looking forward to teaching the Japanese community in Atlanta more about football.
