Message from Professional Tennis Player Kei Nishikori
On July 10, 2012 the Consulate General of Japan received a phone call from professional tennis player Kei Nishikori, who is currently competing in the Campbell's Hall of Fame Tennis Championships in Newport, Rhode Island. Mr. Nishikori plans to be in Atlanta July 16-22 to compete in the BB&T Atlanta Open (ATP World Tour 250). He had the following message for Atlanta:
"This will be the first time for me to visit Atlanta. Since the Olympics are coming up so soon, I plan to use the match in Atlanta to up my game. I hope all of you will come out to support me."
After Wimbledon, Mr. Nishikori was ranked 18th in the world as of July 9, and plans to compete in the London Olympics, which start July 29, chasing his personal best of 16th place, which he set March 19. In Atlanta, in addition to singles, he will also play doubles with Go Soeda, which he also plans to do at the Olympics.
On July 10 in Newport, Mr. Nishikori won his singles match again his Dutch opponent. On July 11, he will play another singles match as well as a doubles.

Kei Nishikori will play on Wednesday, July 18 on the Stadium Court after the match between Andy Roddick and Nicolas Mahut, which starts at 7 pm.
Go Soeda will play on Wednesday, July 18 on theGrandstand Court at 4 pm.

I've bought my ticket. Where can I watch tennis?
One ticket gives you access to all three courts. That ticket grants you an assigned seat within Stadium Court for the matches during that session. That same ticket allows you to enter United Way Grandstand Court and Court 3 as well as the rest of the entire grounds including the practice courts.
