Waddell Language Academy Japanese Painting Contest Award Ceremony

    Waddell Language Academy, a public K-8 magnet school located in North Carolina, held an award ceremony on the 18th to recognize the prize winners of their Japanese Painting Contest. At Waddell, second language immersion instruction is offered in Chinese, French, German, and Japanese. With 10 Japanese teachers on staff, currently there are 205 students learning Japanese. The award ceremony was topped off by a song by the kindergarten class and performance by taiko drumming club.
