Foreign Minister’s Commendations for FY 2022

On August 4, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan confirmed the recipients of the 2022 Foreign Minister’s Commendations. Among 197 individuals and 48 groups across the globe, the following two individual was awarded from the Consulate General of Japan in Atlanta’s jurisdiction area.
- Dr. Tracy Ken Tsuetaki
Prior Chairman of the Japan-America Society of North Carolina
Contribution: Promotion of mutual understanding between Japan and the U.S.A. - Ms. Yoshimi Yamagata Aoyagi
Executive Director of Animazement
Contribution: Promotion of Japanese Language Education in the U.S.A.
The foreign Minister’s Commendations are awarded to individuals and groups with outstanding achievements, in order to acknowledge their contributions to the promotion of friendship between Japan and other countries and areas.
