Honorary Georgia Citizenship Awarded to Deputy Consul General Fukunaga (November 30, 2023)

On November 30th, Deputy Consul General Mamoru Fukunaga was awarded the Honorary Georgia Citizenship for his contributions to strengthening relations between Japan and the State of Georgia. The certificate of the conferment was presented by Georgia-Japan Legislative Caucus Co-Chair State Representative Teri Anulewicz and celebrated by the members of the caucus at the State Capitol. He was also recognized on the House floor by Speaker Jon Burns. Deputy Consul General Fukunaga expressed extreme gratitude to the State of Georgia for awarding him this high honor.
