On August 4, 2023, Deputy Consul General Fukunaga and members of the Consulate visited Mayor Garnett Johnson of Augusta, GA. They enjoyed discussing relations with their sister city of Takarazuka in Hyogo Prefecture, Japan and also the desire to strengthen Japan’s connection with Augusta. We look forward to supporting continued exchange and strengthened ties between Augusta and Japan!
