Consul General Maeda attends Macon International Cherry Blossom Festival (March 15 and 17, 2024)

On March 15th, 2024, Consul General Maeda made remarks at the opening ceremony for the Macon International Cherry Blossom Festival. About 350,000 Yoshino cherry trees bloom in all their glory in Macon, and people enjoy the 10 days Cherry Blossom Festival.
On March 17, Consul General Maeda participated in the parade in a vehicle with a Consul General of Japan sticker. Various organizations participated in the parade, including YKK, which has close ties with the Macon Cherry Blossom Festival. People gathered along the route gave loud cheers to all the participants.
