Foreign Minister’s Commendations for FY 2025

On August 28th, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan announced the recipients of the 2025 Foreign Minister’s Commendations. Among 173 individuals and 58 organizations across the globe, the following individual and organization were awarded from the states of the Consulate General of Japan in Atlanta’s jurisdiction.
●Mr. Kōzō MATSUDA; Huntsville, AL
Honorary Advisor of North Alabama Japanese Garden
Contribution: Promotion of Japanese culture in the U.S.A.
●Georgia Japanese Language School; Mableton, GA
Contribution: Promotion of Japanese language education in the U.S.A.
The Foreign Minister’s Commendation is awarded to individuals and groups with outstanding achievements, to acknowledge their contributions to the promotion of friendship between Japan and other countries and areas.
