Foreign Minister’s Commendations for FY 2026

On September 24th, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan announced the recipients of the 2026 Foreign Minister’s Commendations. Among 159 individuals and 67 organizations, the following individual was awarded from the states under the Consulate General of Japan in Atlanta’s jurisdiction.
●Mr. Thomas (Tom) Taylor, Former State Representative of Gorgia General Assembly
Contribution: Promotion of mutual understanding between Japan and the U.S.A.
The Foreign Minister’s Commendation is awarded to individuals and groups with outstanding achievements, to acknowledge their contributions to the promotion of friendship between Japan and other countries and areas.
