Consul General Maeda attends the ceremony of a Japanese company. (November 15, 2024)

On November 15, 2024, Consul General Maeda made congratulatory remarks at the ceremony to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the establishment of America Fujikura Ltd. (AFL) in Duncan, South Carolina. AFL is a subsidiary company of FUJIKURA, one of the leading fiber optic makers in the world. At the event, Lieutenant Governor Pamela Evette also joined some 1,000 AFL employees to celebrate the memorable milestone event.
